A Fresh, Funky, Fashionable Hotel
To say that the rooms of Aloft don’t resemble your typical hotel room is an understatement. You essentially enter through the bathroom, with the main door being right beside the open bathroom area. While the bathroom lacked the tub I so adore, it did have a large, brightly lit, glass shower and one very nice touch – built in shampoo and body wash dispensers attached to the wall. What a great idea! Environmentally friendly, economical, and streamlined. The fact that they were filled with Bliss products was a nice bonus touch.
As I was traveling for work, I bypassed the pool, fitness, and bar area (although it looked awesomely cool!) in favor of catching up on my computer. The wi-fi was easy, fast, and reliable – and that always makes for a good experience! Plenty of outlets in the room meant it was easy to charge my devices no matter where I was working.
I have only one complaint. Aloft was easily one of the sleekest, chicest, funkiest hotels I’ve ever been in – but it had horrible views of a shopping center and a parking lot. It was a dismal view in the morning!
As always, I welcome and encourage your feedback. Do you like hotels with unusual decor?

My hotel room was included in a press trip with Central Counties Tourism. This did not affect my review and all opinions remain my own.
