I'm heading to TBEX for the first time!
Are you going to TBEX? I am – and I can’t wait! TBEX, the Travel Bloggers’ Exchange, is a bi-annual conference experience that has one session in North America in spring, and another in Europe in the fall. So happy that it’s practically in my backyard this June (well, technically 4 hours away, in Toronto – but close enough!) I’m really looking forward to connecting with old friends, putting names to faces, meeting some inspiring organizations to work with, and enjoying the very best that Toronto has to offer.
Our weekend will start on Thursday afternoon when Ryan (my wonderful partner, whose IT, photography, and business skills are the backbone of the blog!) and I are excited to take part in the "Stroll, Savour, and Segway Tour" through Toronto’s Distillery District. Come Friday, I’ll be in the writing workshop, and then the "Shop with the Chef St Lawrence Market" Tour – I can’t wait to explore the city and whip up some great meals!
Meanwhile, Ryan will be an enthusiastic member of the "Sports-opolis" tour, and will then participate in the photography workshop. On Saturday and Sunday, we’re eagerly awaiting some fantastic speakers and learning sessions with the TBEX team – and hopefully a lot of socializing too! We’ll finish our experience by taking part in the "Market Mania" tour on Monday before heading home.
There’s so many great writers, bloggers, and industry insiders that I’ve connected with over the past year on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Tout – but there’s nothing like connecting in real life. Can’t wait to meet all of you!
Are you going to TBEX? What are you looking forward to?
