What Our Clients Say:

"I was talking with [business owner] and she was so thrilled with the post.  She also took full advantage of it and shared it on a community group page on Facebook.  She had her highest day of sales this year (beating out a festival weekend even)."

“My project manager says that we’re good to publish, but he doesn’t want to show the client your post right away because he’s afraid that she might start expecting the same quality from all our bloggers!”

"We are starting to create a Rolodex of good bloggers to work with... we loved working with you and the blog you put out on us!"

“It was so good…we were speechless.”

Advertising

Why not place native advertising on one of our pages, or within the blog article of your choice?

What is native advertising? You can see an example within a blog post here.  We place a custom, personalized advertisement for your business within a story that reflects your business’ values and ideals.

Native advertising tells our readers that you are a company that really understands their interests, hobbies, and desires. And our readers love that our written content remains original and independent, driving return visits and high page views.

The advertisement contains your name, logo, a link to your site, and one-line write up about your business. They are less intrusive for our written content and more visible and relevant for the reader.

Prefer instead to advertise on one or more of our other pages? We would be happy to discuss that opportunity with you as well.

We would love to work with you on a press trip – and we guarantee you’ll love to work with us! We’re prompt, professional, and pleasant and we’ll treat you, your team, your partners, and all participants with respect. Our creative and compelling story telling, social media coverage, and photography gives your destination immediate visibility and a perpetual online presence.

Examples:

Our press trip to Norfolk County, Ontario, introduced us to Whistling Garden and gave us the spark for a remarkable blog post: The Golden Spruce of Norfolk County. This article’s prominence was a driving force behind Vanessa being awarded the Norfolk County Travel Writer of the Year.
“And tucked in a shady corner, among its majestic cousins is a petite, unassuming, slightly tatty little tree whose one redeeming feature seems to be its golden hued needles. It’s very likely I would have passed by without giving it a single glance if Darren hadn't revealed its true identity. Just inches from my feet was a part of the Golden Spruce….”

“I wish I was going with you!” We must hear this hundreds of times a year!!!

We offer travel sponsorship opportunities and brand ambassadorships for brands who share our values and audience. We work with our partners to develop custom packages that include product reviews, blog articles, extensive social media coverage, and advertising on our site. The benefit of a sponsorship lasts well beyond one trip and can last for months, if not years.

Brand Ambassadorship takes this relationship one step further and can include photography sets, content for your site, content for your social media, presentations to your staff, shareholders, and community partners.  We’ll be your roving reporter, your eye on the world and the mouthpiece for your brand.

Examples:

When we embarked on our Around The World in 80k trip, we brought Tilley Endurables with us. As our exclusive outfitter, we showed their audience that it’s possible to travel around the world with no more than one small bag and 5 main outfits. We proved their claims of easy wash, easy dry fabrics. And we tested everything from - raincoats to socks - under every single travel condition imaginable.

After two years, hundreds of blog posts contain photos of us wearing Tilley Endurable products (including 7 product specific gear review posts - linked to Tilley below) and there have been over 1,000 social media posts and shares either showing or mentioning their brand.  And since they make such a fine product, it’s safe to say it will be organically featured in our travel pics for years to come! As a final touch, we placed a Tilley Endurables advertisement in our sidebar for 18 months.

Tourism boards like Central Counties, Ontario, have hired us to tell their blog readers just how amazing their destination is. It was a match made in heaven when Vanessa’s lifelong love of Anne of Green Gables found its way to the tiny community of Leaskdale – and onto the tourism board’s blog.
“Lucy Maud Montgomery arrived in Leaskdale in 1911, the new bride of the local minister and already a well-known author, having published Anne of Green Gables just three years earlier. Against a backdrop of rolling green farmland hills, a small country church, and a comfortable home with a garden she took considerable pride in, Maud would write 11 of the 22 books that would go on to change the face of Canadian literature…”

TurnipseedTravel Product Review: Measuring a black backpack
We’re persnickety packers. Every piece of gear in our kit has been tested, retested, weighed, and debated. Our readers know we value quality over quantity and they trust us to give fair, balanced reviews. We've stayed in hundreds of hostels, hotels, motels, and inns (oh, and a few airport floors as well!) We've eaten thousands of meals – and we don’t even want to start calculating our coffee intake! We’re experienced travelers who have been doing this for a long time and we’re happy to share our expertise to make your business run smoothly.

We are happy to be your test audience (and generate a private report) for your new hotel or restaurant prior to the grand opening to help you work out all the kinks. We’d love to help you build social media momentum towards your launch party, new exhibition, or re-brand reveal. We’ll be your travel test subjects, the most comprehensive and thorough guinea pigs you've ever seen!

Once you’re up and running, you’ll want to keep your brand buzz going. We’re available for hotel, restaurant, café, pub, museum, gallery, bookstore, and small business visits in order to generate a comprehensive review or story for our blog. Our reviews are fair and balanced and our readers have come to count on us for trustworthy travel writing.
