Wolfe Island is one of the prettiest spots in the Thousand Islands.
Picturesque Wolfe Island sits at the entrance of the St Lawrence River and is easily accessible by a free ferry from neighbouring Kingston, Ontario. Wolfe Island is lovely any time of year, but in summer it is especially nice. Budget minded travelers will appreciate the scenic walks along the water, the safe, straight roads perfect for biking, the delightful bakery and nearby pubs and cafes. Best of all, there are plenty of unique photography opportunities!
I highly recommend a day trip to Wolfe Island for anyone visiting the Kingston and Thousand Island area. It's an affordable, relaxed, and charming area to retreat to for a day (or maybe a weekend!) and emerge feeling rested and recharged.
As always, I welcome and encourage your comments. Have you ever been to Kingston or Wolfe Island?
